How it works

You answer the questions. Real registry staff — the same people who file corporations at the counter every day — do the rest.

1

Tell us about your company

Name, owners, directors, and addresses. Every legal term explained in plain English, with sensible defaults if you're not sure.

2

We review and file

A licensed registry agent checks your answers, runs your NUANS name search, and files directly in Alberta's Corporate Registry.

3

You're incorporated

Your Certificate of Incorporation and filed documents arrive by email — usually the same business day. CRA sends your Business Number within 7–10 days.

One honest price

Government fees included. No artificial 10-day queue, no fee to "review your own draft," no $500-a-year surprises.

Common questions

Named or numbered — which should I pick?

A numbered corporation (like "2612345 Alberta Ltd.") is faster and cheaper — no name search needed — and you can still operate under a trade name. A named corporation gives you the name on the certificate itself and requires a NUANS name search, which we run for you.

Do directors need to live in Canada?

No. Alberta removed the director residency requirement in 2021. Directors can live anywhere — but every Alberta corporation needs an agent for service: a person with an Alberta address who can receive legal documents. That can be you, one of your directors, or we can act as your agent for a small annual fee.

What do I get when it's done?

Your Certificate of Incorporation with your Corporate Access Number, plus copies of everything filed. The CRA automatically emails your federal Business Number within 7–10 days.

What if something in my order needs fixing?

A licensed agent reviews every order before filing. If anything's off — say your proposed name conflicts with an existing one — we contact you directly and sort it out. No extra charge.

Can you handle professional corporations or non-profits?

Not online yet — those need extra approvals. Call the registry and we'll handle them the traditional way.
